The pig in the Shelby Township police

Captured pig leaves a very special suprise in police car

MICHIGAN - The delighted pig pictured above has a plan.

Shelby Township police captured the farm animal on Thursday thus ending its romp in Debbie DeRiemaecker's yard, reports the Washington Post. The pig charged DeRiemacker, but was soon distracted by a shiny red crystal ball lawn ornament in her lawn. This gave a laughing DeRiemacker just enough time to call the police, who took the pig into custody and corralled it into a patrol car unaware of the animal's ticking internal clock. This pig had to go.

The pig covered the backseat of the police car with - how do we put this... - poop, prompting officers to take a photo of the aftermath for their department's Facebook page.

The caption? "Now we know why that pig is smiling in the first pic! Lol"

"We were able to corral the pig," Deputy Chief Mark Coil said in the Detroit News. "It was returned to the owner without incident."

We here at NH1 feel the police department has more than earned the Facebook page likes the asked for with their hysterical social media publication of this event.

Happy Wednesday!
