Candia police looking for information on emaciated dog found on side of road

CANDIA - Police are looking for the owner of an emaciated dog found walking on the side of the road.

The male dog, who was found at the corner of Langford and Raymond roads by a passer-by. He was scared and covered in feces and urine, so police believe he may have been in an animal crate.

The dog is either a boxer or boxer mix, police said.

He is currently under a 14-day quarantine at a local veterinarian's office. The quarantine is typical when police don't have information about an animal's shot history.

If the dog is determined to be adoptable, he will go to the SPCA in Stratham.

Police are asking anyone with information to call 603-483-2317. They said no information is too little to report.
