NEW HAMPTON - Calling hours for fallen firefighter, Doug Clement have been announced for Tuesday.
Calling hours will be from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Newfound Regional High School in Bristol followed by a private burial ceremony.
A public reception will be held at the New Hampton Public Safety Building at 24 Intervale Drive in New Hampton following the burial.
The New Hampton Firefighters Association posted a photo of a firefighter's coat and boots on the front bumper of a fire truck. The name on the jacket is that of Doug Clement. Several people on the association's Facebook page wrote "RIP Doug Clement."
Chief Michael Drake said Douglas Clement, 43, died of a heart attack last week after returning home from rescue training Monday evening.
Drake said Clement died in the line of duty. He was a member of the department since 1997 and leaves behind four children.
The department is asking for donations in lieu of flowers.
