Busy weekend for NH Search and Rescue

HARTS LOCATION - New Hampshire Fish and Game were called to help two injured hikers over the weekend.

On Sunday, Anny Bedard, 50, of Boston, fractured her left leg while descending Webster Cliff Trail in the White Mountain National Forest and had to be brought out on a litter. Jinglei Mei, 39, of Newton, Mass. was descending down the White Trail on Belknap Mountain when she slipped and injured her left ankle and could not walk down.

Several agencies helped with the rescues including Bartlett/Jackson Fire and Ambulance, Twin Mountain Fire, North Conway and Conway Fire departments, and Gilford Fire Rescue.
