Business as usual for NH state rep. and Manchester alderman despite investigations


MANCHESTER — It was business as usual for Alderman Thomas Katsiantonis, who showed up to hear Mayor Ted Gatsas deliver his FY2018 budget address a special meeting of the Board of Mayor and Aldermen on Wednesday evening.

When asked about the execution of four search warrants at his home and businesses Tuesday, Katsiantonis said he had no comment.

The warrants were executed in connection to a financial investigation.

Marked and unmarked police cars are on the scene of Katsiantonis' home at 45 Glen Bloom Drive. Katsiantonis also owns Tommy K's Sports Bar & Restaurant at 2323 Brown Ave. and Grand Slam Pizza at 331 S. Mammoth Road, where police also searched. Zoey's Pizza was was searched as well.

No arrests have been made at this time.

Besides being a Manchester alderman, Katsiantonis is also a state representative.

N.H. Republican State Committee Chairman Jeanie Forrester called for the suspension of Representative and Alderman Thomas Katsiantonis after learning of his involvement in an open criminal investigation.
