Brentwood Police looking for donations to honor fallen officer Steve Arkell

Brentwood Police are looking to the community for help to honor a fellow officer killed in the line of duty.

Officer Stephen Arkell was killed in May after he was shot responding to a domestic disturbance.

Now the department is raising money with hopes of making a trip to Washington, D.C., to put Arkell's name on the Wall of the Fallen on the anniversary of his death.

The department needs to raise $15,000 in order to make the trip.

So far the campaign has raised about $3,000. You can donate to the cause's GoFundMe page.

All money raise beyond that goals will go to future events and scholarships in his honor.
