Breath easier, the knee injury to Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski might not be that bad

New England's latest injury came to tight end Rob Gronkowski, who took a hit to his right knee late in the fourth quarter in Sunday's game against the Broncos.

He was carted off the field, but it might not be as bad as it looks.

According to ESPN, Gronkowski has a bruised knee and no tears in his ligaments and is considered a "minor knee strain."

He's not expected to play this week, but he could see the field very soon.

The Patriots are already without top receivers Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola.

Backup tight end Scott Chandler had five catches for 58 yards and a score.
