BOSTON, Mass. — Commuters can be seen breaking through the windows of a train at the Back Bay Station while smoke fills the train and platform, according to a series of tweets from bystanders.
A train on the orange line allegedly exploded and there was a fire outside of the train, causing smoke to fill the train.
All I heard was "there was an explosion" and " there is a fire outside the train" from Mbta official. Then we evacuated. Pretty orderly too!— Jordan Pailthorpe (@Jpailthorpe) October 26, 2016
In a tweet from a bystander, commuters can be seen breaking through windows, climbing out of them, and attempting to break open the doors.
At the moment, no one has been reported injured but a video on twitter shows people on the train evacuating, coughing repeatedly.
