BOSTON Mass. – An Uber driver, who plead guilty to kidnapping and raping a woman waiting for a ride, will spend at least 10 years in prison.

According to the Boston Herald, Alejandro Done, 47 of Boston, lured the woman to his car last December, drove her to a undisclosed location and climbed in the back seat. Prosecutors said he strangled and hit the woman while sexually assaulting her.

Done passed the company’s background checks but Boston Police authorities had previously linked him to sexual assaults on the Esplanade.
