Boston man arraigned on human trafficking charges in Portsmouth
SEABROOK - A Boston man was arraigned on several counts of human trafficking charges Thursday morning.
Frantzer Fleurimond appeared before a judge in Seabrook District Court for charges stemming from his arrest Wednesday night. Portsmouth police arrested Fleurimond after several months of investigations. Police allege he coerced two women into involuntarily servitude by controlling their access to heroin.
Fleurimond did not enter a plea on Thursday and was assigned a public defender for his case. He was ordered by a judge to be held on $75,000 cash bail with stipulations. Because of the nature of his crime, if bail is met, an investigation into the bail money will be made to determine whether it was made legally or by illegal activity. He is scheduled to appear in Portsmouth District Court on Oct. 15 for a probable cause hearing.
