STRATHAM — The teen that Stratham police were searching for since Sunday has been found dead.
Police found the body of John "Jack" Beaton, 17, in Stratham early Wednesday. Police do not consider the circumstances of Beaton's death to be suspicious.
Stratham Police thanked Exeter and New Hampshire State Police and the public for their efforts in the search, and offered condolences to those close to Beaton.
“At this time my deepest condolences are extended to Jack’s family and friends," Stratham Police Chief John Scippa said. "It is our hope that the public offer their support to Jack’s family during this difficult time."
The department said it does not expect to release more information.
