Body found in Connecticut River has been identified as missing woman
CHESTERFIELD – The body recovered from the Connecticut River Tuesday has been identified as Mary Ann Merrill, a missing woman from Charlestown.
Merrill’s body was identified after an autopsy Wednesday confirmed dental records.
She was reported missing in April from a residence in Charlestown.
Merrill’s cause of death was determined to be drowning.
Authorities do not suspect foul play.
