Blizzard of 2015 postpones Boston Marathon bombing suspect court session
CONCORD - Jury selection in the trial of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is a casualty of the Blizzard of 2015.
Court officials in Boston confirmed the storm has caused canceling a second day of jury picking proceedings on Wednesday. It will resume on Thursday.
The process has been going slower than officials anticipated; court clerks had hoped an average of 40 a day would be questioned.
Through six days, there were only 81 questioned.
Tsarnaev, 21, has pleaded not guilty to federal crimes.
Three people were killed and more than 260 injured in the 2013 bombing.
