Blind and deaf cat has been found, brought to CAVES in Concord
CONCORD — CAVES employees are hopeful that someone will claim a stray cat that was walking near traffic on South Main Street last week.
The cat does not have a micro chip, is a spayed female and is both deaf and blind, the Concord Monitor reported. CAVES experts estimate that she is between 10 and 15 years old.
They believe that her blindness is due to high blood pressure and hope that she will regain her eyesight at some point.
She is grey and brown with white paws, chest and nose.
If the owner does not come forward, CAVES will work with local agencies to find the cat a new home.
