Bitter winter led to 4th-best ski season ever for NH resorts
There is no argument that this past winter was one of the hardest for N.H. residents but - like true New Englanders - record-breaking snowfall and bitter cold did not phase our winter sports.
Actually, it helped the NH ski season.
According to SkiNH.com, the 2014-2015 was the fourth-best season on record and brought over 2.5 million visitors to the Granite State ski areas.
Despite the tough traveling, N.H. alpine ski areas recorded a 1.7% increase (about 2,311,095 people) over the 2013-2014 season.
11 N.H. tubing areas also had their second-best season ever, with more than 120,000 visits this winter.
