Bicyclist dies after collision with a car on Merrimack Street in Manchester


MANCHESTER - A man is dead after the bicycle he was riding collided with a car on Merrimack Street near Hanover.

Police say they got a call just before 11 p.m. on Friday. The driver of the car was uninjured but the bicyclist was taken to Elliot Hospital where he later died. Police did not immediately know the name of the bicyclist and said he was a white male in his 50s or 60s.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Manchester police at 603-668-8711.
