Berlin inmate found with stabbing weapon for 2nd time in cell search
CONCORD — An inmate was found with a six-inch plastic stabbing weapon during a routine cell search.
Joshua Starr, 30, was previously convicted in court for possession of a similar weapon, made of wood, as an inmate at Federal Correctional Institution in Berlin.
The plastic stabbing weapon was found in Nov. 2015. The Court imposed a term of 18 months’ imprisonment, to be served consecutive to Starr’s current prison sentence.
The federal Bureau of Prisons website lists him now scheduled for release in February 2020.
