BELMONT - An incident of road rage turned violent Monday night when someone shot out the rear window of a car on Route 106 near the Gilmanton line.
Police received a report from a driver at 7:40 p.m. who said his rear window had been shot out by another motorist after a roadway dispute. No one was injured, and police recovered the bullet lodged in the victim's car.
The investigation led police to a person of interest in Nashua. A search warrant was executed and a firearm and ammunition was recovered.
It was unclear whether any arrests have been made. More on this story as it develops.
