Bedford ranked No. 21 in Time Magazine's 2015 Best Places to Live in US
BEDFORD - Segway inventor Dean Kamen, comedian Seth Meyers, US Congressman Mace Moulton, and actress Sarah Silverman all have one thing in common - they were born or raised in Bedford.
With a number of notable citizens it is safe to say the small town next to Manchester is a great place to live.
Well, apparently Time Magazine agrees.
The magazine's "Money" section put together a list of 50 small cities and towns across the country to create the 2015's list of Best Places to Live.
And you guessed it - Bedford made the list at No. 21!
Families love the town for its small-town feel with large residential lots, plus a school system recently ranked sixth in the state.
Among Bedford's great qualities, it is a perfect commuter town - just an hour north of Boston and right next to Manchester -an employment hub for those who want a closer commute.
Also close by are Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester airport and Concord, the state capitol.
Nature-lover? Bedford is surrounded with plenty of nearby hiking trails, beaches and mountains for skiers or snowboarders.
With so much happening in a quiet spot - it is clear to see why Bedford made the list of best places to live.
