Bedford Memorial Day parade honors military service of those who have died

NH1.com

BEDFORD - The annual Bedford Memorial Day parade brought the community together to honor the military service of the men and women who have died fighting for our freedom.

High school marching bands, veterans, and musical acts all marched down Nashua road.

John Kroehler, corps master for the Bedford VFW Post, says the parade should be a reminder Memorial Day is about more than just a day off from work.

"We bring attention to the citizens and veterans that they need to remember those who have cared for this country, kept it safe, many with their lives," Koehler said.
