Battle of the Badges preparations underway

MANCHESTER- Local firefighters and police are getting ready to hit the hockey rink to help children.

Tuesday practice kicked off for the Battle of the Badges. The annual hockey game set for this spring raises money for Children's Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock.

Each year patients team up with the players.

"He's pretty much like my little brother," said Goffstown firefighter Chris Couturier of his CHaD Badge Buddy Joshua Fitzgerald.
" It's always a good time. I get to see him come out and enjoy the time with us."

The game takes place April 11 at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester. Tickets are ten dollars. Kids ten and under get in free.
