Bail set at $100K for man accused of kidnapping, beating dad - an ex-Nashua police chief

The man who was charged with kidnapping and beating his father – a former Nashua police chief – in April 2009 was back in court on Monday for a bail hearing.

Eric Largy is accused of restraining his father to an antique barber’s chair and torturing him for hours.

Largy was deemed unfit for trial and sent to a psychiatric unit at the state prison after his arrest. However, the state recently re-indicted Largy on the charges - seven years later.

He’s being held on $100,000 bail and has another hearing scheduled for next week.
