BAE names new president for Electronic Systems unit
NASHUA - BAE Electronic Systems will have a new president with a familiar face on Jan. 1.
Tom Arseneault will assume the role of president, while retaining his positions as the chief operating officer for BAE Systems Inc., and member of the BAE Systems plc Executive Committee.
Dan Gobel will retire Dec. 31.
"During his tenure, the company has benefitted from Dan's stewardship, passion for our customers' missions, commitment to our people, and extensive knowledge and experience," said Jerry DeMuro, president and CEO of BAE Systems, Inc.
Arseneault previously managed various organizations and programs for Sanders, a Lockheed Martin Co., according to his bio on BAE's website. He remained with the unit when it was acquired by BAE Systems in 2000.
He was president of the Electronics Systems from 2010-12.
