ATV crash in Millsfield leaves 1 passenger with injuries

MILLSFIELD - A passenger on an ATV was injured when the driver failed to negotiate a turn, traveled across West Branch Road and into an drainage ditch, Fish and Game officials said.

Timothy Wooster, 29, of Rindge was driving with passenger Kayla Perkins, 20, of Rindge, at approximately 12:40 p.m. when the crash occurred. Both stayed on the ATV, but Perkins was injured. She was taken to a nearby restaurant and 911 was called for an ambulance.

Perkins was taken to Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital for treatment. There was no further information on her injuries.

The crash is under investigation, however unreasonable speed is believed to be a contributing factor in the crash, conservation officers said.
