At least 28 people have been killed following a series of blasts in Brussels, according to the Associated Press.
Authorities say at least one of the attacks was carried out by a suicide bomber.
Both the airport and subway system were attacked along with a government building. Residents in Brussels have been put on a lock down, told not to venture out.
In London, officials are telling people to avoid both the airport and metro system. In France security is being tightened up.
In Boston, Massachusetts state police tell NH1 that security is heightened but would not go in to detail.
