LACONIA - Police have arrested a teen in several car break-ins that happened one night earlier in the week.
Authorities said 18-year-old Justin Mitza admitted he played a role in the break-ins earlier this week. One neighbor said he noticed the dome light in his car was on early Tuesday morning and called 911.
In addition to the cars, a few houses were also broken into.
"That makes us feel a little bit better," said Laconia resident Ashley Conrad. "It's a little bit weird for this neighborhood. We just moved here. I've been in Laconia my whole life, and this area is a good area, so it's pretty weird for that to happen."
Mitza has been charged with conspiracy to commit theft.
