Arrest made in 4-month-long investigation into NH gun theft

MARLOW—A Vermont man labeled by authorities as a fugitive from justice was arrested in Bellows Falls following a 4-month-long investigation into a New Hampshire burglary.

New Hampshire State Police were called to a reported burglary in Marlow on April 13, 2017. A person had reported that a firearm had been stolen.

The ensuing investigation led to an arrest warrant being issued for Raymond Monty, 28, of Bellows Falls, Vermont.

Monty was arrested bout 10:30 p.m. on Friday, July 14 . He is being held in Vermont pending his extradition to New Hampshire.

Police are asking anyone with information about the alleged Marlow burglary urged to contact Trooper Thomas Byrne, New Hampshire State Police Troop – C at 603 358-3333.
