Armed robbery at Plaistow Irving station under investigation


PLAISTOW — An armed robbery was reported at the Irving Gas station at 119 Plaistow Road Wednesday night.

It was reported that the male suspect approached the clerk at the cash register, showed his gun and said, "don’t lose your life over this, give me the money."

The clerk gave the suspect an unspecified amount of money from the register and the suspect fled from the store. Officers are not sure if he fled on foot or in a car.

The suspect was described as a white male, 5'8'' to 5'9'' with a medium build. He was wearing a light-blue hooded sweatshirt with a full zipper, brown and tan plaid shorts with white and grey sneakers.
