Another $50K Powerball winner bought ticket in Nashua
NASHUA - For the second time in less than a week, a $50,000 Powerball winning ticket was sold in Nashua.
Lottery officials say the ticket from Wednesday night's drawing was purchased at the Hannaford store at 175 Coliseum Ave.
The store is the 3rd most frequent seller of winning tickets in the state.
Overall, New Hampshire players won almost $700,000 in prize money from the Wednesday drawing, lottery officials say.
In the four days of sales leading up to Wednesday's record $1.5 billion jackpot, New Hampshire sold almost $6.5 million worth of Powerball tickets.
Bonnie Griffin of Nashua also won $50,000 from Powerball from the drawing on Saturday.
