BEDFORD - It's turned into a happy tale out of the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire in Bedford.

After someone broke in and emptied the shelves of the pet food pantry, the community has stepped up.

The donations keep coming.

In fact, the shelter says so much food has been donated that they have been able to help other pet food pantries around the state fill the shelves.

That's cool enough to make even the grumpiest dog's tail wag.
