CONCORD — The American Red Cross is looking for nominations for the "Everyday Heroes Awards," sponsored by NH1 News and Unitil.
This annual event salutes unsung heroes. Granite State residents are asked to nominate a friend, co-worker or someone they know to be honored for their selfless acts by Nov. 4.
Nominees must be a resident of New Hampshire and their heroic act/rescue must have taken place between Nov. 1, 2015 and Oct. 31, 2016.
Possible nomination categories could include:
The winners will be honored at the "Everyday Heroes Awards" event on March 1, 2017 at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
