American Red Cross puts together a list to keep Granite Staters safe Memorial Day Weekend
CONCORD — Memorial Day is a special time to remember those who have given the ultimate sacrifice, as well as the unofficial start to summer.
It is still important to stay safe while enjoying this time.
“Preparation and prevention are key components of summer safety,” said Maria Devlin, CEO of the American Red Cross in New Hampshire and Vermont. “If an emergency occurs, people need to know what to do until advanced medical help arrives.”
Here are some tips to have a safe and fun holiday weekend, brought to you by the Red Cross.
These tips include how to avoid vacation mishaps, highway, fireworks, grilling and hiking safety.
