Alternate routes may help avoid NH NASCAR-related traffic congestion
It’s NASCAR weekend, and that means there will be a lot of traffic back-ups to deal with.
The big race starts Sunday at 1:30 p.m., with much of the traffic congestion in the afternoon and evening hours. Traffic control is planned for the most congested areas - I-93 and Route 106 - as well as after the race where I-393 and I-93 meet.
If you need to travel, here are a few alternate routes you can try:
- Route 28 from Chichester to Manchester
- 132 from Tilton to Route 9 in Concord
- Route 3A from Manchester to Concord/Bow
