Alligator found walking the streets of Lowell taken to reptile rehab facility

LOWELL, Mass. — Police responded to a report of an alligator walking on the street in Lowell Sunday evening.

When officers arrived on scene they discovered the gator, which was only about a foot long.

Animal Control was called and the alligator was taken to a facility that specializes in reptile rehabilitation for evaluation and care.
