Allenstown police seek help in identifying man who robbed elderly NH woman

ALLENSTOWN — Police are searching for a man accused of stealing an elderly woman's purse and cellphone from her home and using the items around town.

The burglary occurred on Bartlett Street between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. April 13, police said.

Police released surveillance images of a man they have been tracking since the burglary happened. The man can be seen in the images going into a local convenience store and then into a Dunkin' Donuts. Police said the suspect is wearing a sweatshirt with the letters MCU in red under a jacket.

Anyone with information about the burglary or the man in the surveillance images and video is asked to call the police department at (603) 485-9500.
