Alcohol is believd to be a factor in an ATV crash seriously injuring a Massachusetts man

CARROLL — A Massachusetts man suffered serious injuries after an ATV crash on Friday.

Brandon Haugh, 38, of Lowell, MA was alone when he went off the road on a curve and vaulted into a very steep drainage ditch.

Haugh had been working on the ATV and friends assumed he had taken it on a test ride. After a while, they went looking for him and found him unconscious.

Although the investigation is ongoing, speed and alcohol are believed to be the major contributing factors in this crash.

His condition is unknown at this time.
