WORCESTER, Mass. – An arrest has been made in connection with a burglary of the Lincoln Stoddard Army Reserve Center in Massachusetts.
The FBI confirmed Monday several weapons has been stolen from the armory on Lake Street.
On Thursday, the FBI said James Morales has been charged with unlawful possession of stolen firearms, theft from government property and unlawful possession of a machine gun.
FBI agents believe Morales broke a window in the armory’s kitchen before climbing on top of the weapons vault and used a power saw to cut a hole through the vault’s ceiling.
Six rifles and 10 9mm pistols, exceeding $1,000, were stolen in all.
