A walk to remember: vigil held for Denise Robert in Manchester

MANCHESTER- By candlelight dozens of people retraced the steps of Denise Robert who was shot to death on her evening walk Sunday in the North End of Manchester.

"I think it's a remarkable symbol of how we can come together in a time of tragedy," said organizer Kristen Cottle. "We can turn something so horrific and try to bring some positive and show the family that we support them."

The search for the killer of the 62-year-old Bedford woman continues.

"I think a lot of people wanted to be here to be together as a sign of solidarity and to move away from fear," said Rev. Dawn Berry.

A $17,500 reward for information leading to an arrest has netted at least a dozen tips so far.
