A Manchester woman died after being ejected from the passenger seat in a rear-end crash

CANTERBURY — NH State Troopers responded to a fatal car crash on I-93 on Friday afternoon at about 3:54 p.m.

A blue 2010 Toyota RAV 4, driven by Brendan Olski, 18, was driving southbound just south of exit 18 when he rear ended a green 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by Charles Chabot, 72, sending the Jeep straight into a cluster of trees in the median.

Irene Chabot, 66, of Manchester, was ejected from the passenger seat of the Jeep in the crash and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Charles Chabot was sent to a local hospital where he suffered serious injuries, yet none were life-threatening.

Olski did not suffer any injuries.

At this time the crash investigation is being handled by the State Police Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Unit (C.A.R. Unit).
