90-year-old Exeter driver dies after fiery crash in Kingston

KINGSTON (AP) — Authorities say a 90-year-old Exeter man died after he was pulled from a vehicle that crashed and caught fire in New Hampshire.

Police said Paul Francis was driving on Exeter Road in Kingston on Sunday when his car went off the left side of the road and struck several trees before rolling over.

Witnesses were able to remove him from the car before it was consumed by flames.

Francis was taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital where he later died.

Police say alcohol or speed don't appear to be factors in the crash. It appears that Francis wasn't wearing a seatbelt.
