9 arrested after weekend sobriety checkpoint on Route 104


NEW HAMPTON – Nine people were arrested this past weekend after N.H. State Police set up a sobriety checkpoint on Route 104.

292 vehicles were stopped between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday night.

Of the cars stopped, the following were arrested and charged for driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

Gabriel Lussier, age 31, Plymouth, Mass.

Alexandra Seavey, age 26, Franklin

Robert Herring, age 64, Maynard, Mass.

James Claypool, age 51, Manchester

Suriya Phongsavat, age 43, Bristol

Ethan Reynolds, age 23, Plymouth

Heath Labombard, age 23, Concord

Jonathan Frost, age 40, Manchester

Jorge Almanzar, age 28, Concord

One motorist was arrested for having an open container.

The checkpoint was issued by Justice James O’Neill in response to an application by State Police as a way to stop impaired motorists.
