85 people representing 31 countries become citizens in Concord today


CONCORD - Thursday is National Constitution and Citizenship Day and for a large group in Concord, it has much more significance.

85 people from 31 different countries took the oath to be Americans today.

Sushila Chhetri is one of them. She was exhiled from Bhutan when she was just seven years old. Now she says she finally has a home.

Mindy Tran from Vietnam says she got her citizenship today to create a better life for her daughter.

Her daughter, Bao-han, says they will celebrate by going out to eat.
