SUGAR HILL (AP) — A 77-year-old northern New Hampshire pancake restaurant that's received a James Beard Award and been recognized by Rachel Ray and Paula Deen has expanded to a year-round operation.

Polly's Pancake Parlor in Sugar Hill, a stop for White Mountains travelers and leaf-peepers, has undergone renovations and is now operating year-round. It had previously operated for five months out of the year.

The restaurant had been closed since Columbus Day. It is reopening Saturday.

In 2006, Polly's received a James Beard Award as one of "America's Classics."
