70-plus respond to 6-alarm brush fire in Concord

CONCORD - About 70 firefighters and officials showed up to Marjory Swope Park in Concord to battle a 6-alarm fire.

A fire was first reported this afternoon.

Two homes are relatively close to the scene, but fire officials said they are not in danger at this time.

Helicopters were called to the scene.
