400 speeding citations, 96 hands-free citations issued in NH over holiday weekend

CONCORD (AP) — New Hampshire State Police say there were two fatal motor vehicle crashes over the July Fourth weekend and over 400 citations given for speeding.

Troopers issued 42 citations for driving after suspension and made 81 arrests on other charges.

Troopers also wrote 96 citations and issued 47 warnings under New Hampshire's new "hands-free" law banning the use of hand-held electronic devices while driving.
