4 suspects in custody after 13 stolen puppies are found in Manchester


MANCHESTER - 13 puppies were stolen from Bill's Pet and Aquarium early this morning. Manchester police were alerted to the scene by a broken window alert at 6:50 this morning.

A patrol officer in the area saw two the individuals walking in the area of the plaza carrying a Chocolate Labrador Retriever and a Shar Pei dog.

The suspects were later found at a nearby address on Lake Ave.

Four suspects, three male and one female, have been arrested and charged accordingly. Victor Morina, 17; Samara Massey, 18; Curtis Massey, 17; and Ian Forsberg, 17, were taken into custody.

Morina was charged with receiving stolen property, resisting arrest/detention and violation of bail conditions stemming from an August arrest. Curtis Massey was charged with receiving stolen property and violation of bail stemming from a December 7 arrest.

All 13 puppies have been recovered and were unharmed.
