4 injured in 3-car crash in Brentwood Friday

The Associated Press

BRENTWOOD (AP) — New Hampshire police say four people were injured, one seriously, in a three-car chain-reaction crash in Brentwood.

The Portsmouth Herald reports that a pick-up driver on Route 125 southbound was waiting to turn into his driveway at 4:30 p.m. Friday when he was struck from behind by another pick-up truck.

Brentwood police officer Jared Arsenault said that crash sent the first pick-up truck into the northbound lane, where it struck an SUV driven by a woman who suffered serious leg injuries. Two children in her car were also hospitalized.

Police say the driver of the pick-up truck that rear-ended the first truck suffered a broken arm.

The names of those involved have not been released.

Authorities say the driver of the stopped pick-up truck was not injured.
