4-car accident leads to miles-long backup on I-93SB

NH1.com

CONCORD - A four-car collision snarled traffic on Route 93 southbound, just north of Exit 15, Sunday afternoon.

The combination of the collision in the left lane and heavy volume brought traffic to a stop.

Police say Mary Cutler, 60, of Dover, Mass., failed to stop and struck the car in front of her. In turn, the car she struck was pushed into two other cars. Police say all four cars suffered extensive damage. Cutler was transported by the Concord Fire Department to the Concord Hospital with minor injuries.

Cutler was issued a summons for following too closely. The left lane was closed for nearly an hour, and as result, there was a several mile traffic backup.
