4 awesome things to do in NH on your Spring Break staycation


It's the kickoff for spring break for most N.H. students.
If you're opting for a staycation, here are some family-friendly things going on to help keep those kids entertained.

Mount Washington Cog Railway

The Granite State staple opens for the season Saturday, April 25th. The world’s first mountain-climbing cog railway brings visitors to the summit of the Northeast's highest peak. As part of each 3-hour round trip, passengers spend about an hour on the summit taking in the panoramic views. They can also visit the Summit Weather Museum created by the Mount Washington Observatory.

Launch Trampoline Park

The Granite State's newest amusement park opens Saturday, April 25th in Nashua. Launch Trampoline Park is an indoor sports and family-fun facility with more than 18,000 sq. feet of connected trampolines forming one giant jumping surface and angled trampoline walls to bounce off of.

Manchester Spring Carnival

The Manchester Spring Carnival runs April 29th through May 3rd. It's being held at the JFK Coliseum. The traveling amusement park's Fiesta Show offers about 100 amusement rides and attractions.

Free Comic Book Day

It's a special day for some folks. Free Comic Book Day is being held Saturday, May 2nd. There are various locations across New Hampshire participating. Yes, kids get a free comic book!
