3-story playground set to open in NH city at end of June
DOVER — Downtown Dover's newest family attraction is set to open at the end of June.
The Dover Adventure Playground is scheduled to open to the public Saturday, June 24, at Henry Law Park.
The three story playground will feature swings, slides, net chambers, a life-size flat-bottomed vintage gundalow, a splash pad, water pumps, sandy play areas, musical instruments and more.
After years of collaboration, designers feel that the new play space will be a significant attraction in the downtown area.
"The Children's Museum of New Hampshire has been thrilled to partner with the City of Dover, its citizens and businesses to create the new Dover Adventure Playground," said Museum President Jane Bard. "It is sure to become a destination for seacoast families and visitors looking for outdoor play and exploration in a setting that is uniquely Dover."
